North Pine Sports Club have competitive and social teams across Mens, Womens and Junior Football.

Return to Training - Mini-roos and Juniors

As more and more age-groups come on line, we'll update this list of training nights. 


Under 10, 11 and 12 - Tuesday 1 February, 5.45 to 6.45 pm
Under 6, 7, 8 and 9 - Wednesday 2 February, 5.45 to 6.45 pm
  • Meet the coaching team
  • Meet other players in your age group
  • Sessions will be split into age-groups and run by NPSC Coaches
  • Parents can ask questions of committee members, 
  • Parents can sign their players on, try on and order playing kits (shorts, training shirts, socks) or purchase other merchandise
Training will be weekly for the first two weeks until teams are sorted and coaches identify the best night and time for training.

Under 13 & Under 14 - Training - Tuesday 25 and Thursday 27 January, 5.45 to 6.45 pm
  • Meet the returning coaching teams
  • Meet other players in your age group
  • Parents can sign their players on, try on and order playing kits (shorts, training shirts, socks) or purchase other merchandise

Under 15 & Under 16 - Trials and Training - Mondays and Wednesdays, 5.30 to 7 pm
  • Trials and training, guided by Chris Hempstead

Please note: 
  • Team nominations for Under 13 to Under 16 are due to Football Queensland by February 4th, so if your son or daughter wants to play for North Pine in 2022, please endeavour to attend as many sessions as possible
  • Mini-Roos (U6 to U12) commence their seasons after the Easter school holidays.

Registering for Season 2022

For those new to the club, or would like to come down to try on kit or speak to our friendly committee, our next sign-on day will be Saturday 22nd January (9 am to 11 am).


The registration process has TWO steps and is all done online (see information below):


STEP 1: Registration through the NPSC website (the link below). 

  1. Please ensure you choose a training shirt (and any other kit or merchandise you require) during the registration process. 
  2.  Complete this registration process by choosing one of the payment options. If you are paying by EFTPOS at the club, by cash or direct deposit, choose "Pay another way". Otherwise, choose one of the other options.
Once this process is completed, you will be directed to register through Play Football (Football Brisbane). You should see a black button.
STEP 2: Registration through playfootball.com.au - there will be a direct link to this once you have completed Step 1 above. Alternatively, you can visit playfootball.com.au 
Once both steps are completed, you will receive two (2) confirmation emails - one from our club website and one from playfootball.com.au. All fees and merchandise sales are handled through our club website.

Club playing jerseys are provided each week & remain the property of the Club.
Compulsory Items for purchase – Training Shirt, Playing Shorts & Game Day Socks (these can be purchased during the registration process). Note - you don't need to purchase a training shirt if the 2021 shirt still fits!
All players must provide their own boots and shin pads.

Note: you only need to purchase a training shirt if you need a new one (the shirt from 2021 is suitable).

Season 2022

Important Information about Season 2022 for North Pine Sports Club.


Welcome to all returning and new players and members.

Club Calendar
Please keep an eye on the club calendar on our website for training and trial commencement dates and times.

Season Commencement
Football Queensland has released its calendar.
  • Under 6 to Under 12 - commences fixtures on Saturday April 23
  • Metro North Under 13 (first season of Competitive Football) - Trials commence Saturday March 5 (4 weeks); Season commences Saturday April 23
  • Metro North Under 14 to Under 18 - Weekend of March 4
  • Metro Womens 2 - Weekend of March 4
  • Metro Womens 4 and Metro Mens - Trials commence Weekend of March 4 (4 weeks); Season commences weekend of April 22
  • FQPL4 Men (and U23s) - FFA Cup First Round - February 11; Season commences March 4

Junior Football
There have been changes to the structure of Junior Football mandated by Football Queensland. These are detailed on their specific pages on our website (click on the links when they are active).

Briefly:
  • Mini-Roos Under 6 and Under 7 - no change
  • Under 8 to Under 11 - name changes to Kangaroos (formerly Komodos), Wallabies (formerly Goannas) and Quokkas (formerly Geckos).
  • Under 12 reverts to Mini-roos, and follows same format as Mini-roos.
  • Under 13 - first year of competitive football. Trials for grading commence March 5th, for 4 weeks.
  • Under 13 to Under 18 are now called Metro North League (and a corresponding Metro South League). Grading etc remains the same. BYPL is now called Metro Youth League.

North Pine Sports Club welcomes new and returning coaches for the 2022 season.

Coaches are the lifeblood of any Football club and at North Pine, we value and appreciate the work and time that our coaches commit to their teams. If you coached in 2021, we are looking forward to you returning in 2022, and we'd love to have you back.

Whether you are returning to coach or are new to the club, we would love to hear from you.
